A large field took part on a cold day. Mike Crabbe returned an excellent 44 points to take the spoils, comfortably ahead of Thomas Greer on 41 and Graeme Thomson on 39. With just a few weeks to go, things are tightening up at the top of the Winter League and Eclectic leaderboards.
A return to the leaderboard for Alan McIntosh who shot an excellent net 63. Second place went to Ron Hastings on 66, with Neil Baird on the same score but edged into third place on countback.
First appearance for a while from Tom Cranston, and he celebrated with a fine 42 points, ahead of Paul Harris and Xiang Li both on 40.
Ron Hastings and Daniel D'Souza still lead the way in the Winter League and Eclectic standings respectively, but both competitions are gearing up for a close finish.
A second win in a row for Neil Burgoyne on 35 points, one point ahead of Graeme Blackwood and Graeme Thomson. Neil is now putting pressure on Ron Hastings at the top of the Winter League leaderboard.
Equally tough conditions for the medal, but Neil Burgoyne was equal to them in returning an astonishing net 69. Graeme Blackwood was runner up on 73, with Michael Ahern completing a fine weekend in third place on 75
Difficult conditions on a frozen course kept scores down. Michal Ahern emerged victorious with 33 points, ahead of Sandy Myles on 32 and Daniel D'Souza and Stuart Gibson both on 30.
Ron Hastings still leads the Winter League on 213 points, with the nearest challengers Vincent Longueville and Neil Burgoyne on 205 and 203 respectively.
